Sweet and Spicy No-Bake Holiday Nuts are infused with the perfect blend of sweet and salty, and an added flare of spice. They make a great holiday appetizer or snack and/or an on-the-go option all year round.
  • 2 Tbsp Nutiva Coconut Oil (choose unrefined if you like the coconut taste, refined if you'd prefer a neutral taste)
  • 1 cup unsalted raw cashews
  • 1 cup unsalted raw almonds
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 ¼ tsp ginger powder
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  1. Heat the coconut oil in a large wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cashews and almonds, and continue stirring until they are slightly golden in color. Reduce heat to medium-low, and add the coconut sugar.
  3. Continue stirring until the coconut sugar is melted, for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the ginger, pepper, cayenne, and salt, making sure to stir frequently to avoid burning.
  5. Cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat and place on parchment paper to cool.
  7. Serve immediately, or keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
