Training Day 2 Run & Done! Tonight I did the 6xHill Run. I ran these on the treadmill doing my 6 x (400 m) hills at a 6.0% incline, for a total of 3 miles. It was a hard, but a great workout!
I decided to train toggling between two pairs of shoes. According to RunnersWorld Magazine,
“Alternating kicks every other run puts a different stress on your muscles, tendons, bones, and ligaments, which prevents repetitive pounding on a single point.”
I am also doing this so that I can’t over train my “race day shoes!” Both of my shoes are “stability” shoes. I need these desperately. I also need Nike+ desperately, and both of these shoes accommodate that need!
