This is the topic on Day 11 in The Gutsy Girl’s Bible: an approach to healing the gut, 2.0.
I used to believe that all good things would come to those who wait for them. I realized that this is almost never true. I have a quote in my Facebook profile which reads,
Good things come to those who work hard – not those who wait.
I have believed this since 2010 when I gave a speech about it at a #140conf put on by Jeff Pulver. The speech was in regards to finding a job – a job you love.
In hindsight, it really pertains to gut healing as well.
If we waited on our guts to heal and a healthier lifestyle to transform, we would likely wait forever.
The body is brilliant. Neglecting it will get you nowhere. Working hard at keeping it running as it should yields huge benefits.
If your desire is great enough to begin healing your gut, then you must dive for it. A change – your change – simply will not happen overnight. And your pearls are not lying on the seashore of the same routine you have been doing day in, day out. That’s because nothing changes if nothing changes.
Are you ready for a change? Are you ready to make changes? Are you ready to feel better? Are you really ready to change?
You’ll need to learn to dance in the rain (and trust me, it’s not easy), and you’ll need to dive in…..right now, today.
