Turkey handprints -> Do you remember making these while growing up?
I’m fairly certain we made these each and every single year.
As I was staring at her tiny hands for the millionth time about a week ago, I thought about how fun it would be to watch her handprint turkey grow over the years.
Since she is only a little over 2 months old and super tiny (she wasn’t supposed to be born until December!), her first Thanksgiving seemed like the perfect time to begin.
I love the Hands-and-Feet Turkey Craft, but we decided to keep our handprint turkeys plain ‘ole simple.
The only goal is to watch our little turkey grow.

That’s her handprint.
Side note: I won’t lie. This is not easy to do with a 2.5-month-old.
We will do her turkey handprint at each Thanksgiving.
As she gets older, she can decorate her turkey the way she wants (because the good Lord knows her mama is a terrible turkey-maker).
Regardless, we will be able to watch her get bigger and stronger over the years via turkey.
We love her first turkey. And look, her daddy already has her in the palm of his (turkey) hands!
p.s. If you’ve ever done this or something similar with your own children, feel free to leave a link in the comments below!
