Love yourself and others more. Do more, give more and embrace all the beauty that surrounds the love which you’ll be given in return.
I have been spending a lot of time on the “love” element to “eat. play. love” these past few weeks.
As women, I think we tend to focus more on the other two: eat and play (food and fitness). Then we come up short with how we feel, our energies and how our digestive system is functioning.
We failed to remember that we failed to remember ourselves.
“Love” is not just for your husband, for your children, for your parents, for your grandparents, for your friends and for everyone else.
No, “love” is about loving yourself all the same.
“Love” is about remembering to love yourself more by stressing less and reducing the clutter in your physical and emotional life in order to live your best life.
The “love” part of the equation is absolutely critical in healing the gut.
Here are 4 things you can do today to begin “loving” yourself more:
- Just say “no.” Free yourself from the “yes” to everyone and everything. Allow more “you time” in your life.
- Meditate, relax and learn. I spend a lot of time with GaiamTV now. I do various meditations, yoga and anything else my heart desires. The Gutsy Women have our own collection on GaiamTV geared towards IBS and IBD. Give it a try….the first 10 days are free if you click here.
- Clutter. Write a note to yourself with all the physical and emotional clutter you currently have in your life. Make an action-oriented plan to remove them, one-by-one.
- Devote the time for yourself….21 days to be exact. Join us for the Gutsy 21 Days: Jumpstart Your Gut Healing program which begins Monday, February 18 and runs through Sunday, March 10. I can promise you that you will learn so much and be inspired to love yourself in the best way possible.
And if all else fails? Remember to just….
LOVE YOUR GUTS!
