The juicer is one of the 3 essential items every gutsy girl’s kitchen needs.
It’s not like I sit around and make juices all day. I’m also not an advocate of these juice detoxes that are so popular.
However, a great juice can really help your digestive system and/or it can help you get by during a flare up.
I have been adding in a juice about 1-2 times per week. I love the way they make me feel, since I typically use “detoxing/healing” ingredients in mine.
Give this one a try, and let me know what you think!
Just Green Juice
- 1 green apple
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 lemon
- 3 celery stalks
- small slice of ginger (optional) (ginger is very healing, but it will definitely give this drink a “zing” that you might not enjoy)
*Directions not needed. Simply chop up all ingredients into pieces that will fit into your juicer, place in juicer and bam -> beautiful green juice done.
If you don’t remember, I have a BELLA NutriPro juicer. I love it. And I’m about to make some “ice cream” with it soon, too. Yes, multi purpose!
